I think this is still AMERICA, home of the free! I also believe people should be able to do whatever they feel is right for them. Who am I to judge? The BIBLE clearly states: Judge, lest ye be judged! Does it not? People should be allowed to marry whomever they please, as long as it isn't harming anyone else. The liberals will have you believing that their way is the only way! If you listen to them. Personally, I don't like liberals telling me how I should, or shouldn't live. If everyone minded their own damned business, the country would be much better off. Same thing goes for ALL of the Catholics out there!

ABSOLUTELY. Whose business is it who someone marries? Does the government regulate heterosexual weddings? How many heterosexual marriages do you know of that haven't worked out? I just can't understand what is so morally offensive or wrong about a homosexual wedding. Some of my best friends are gay and they fall in love just like us heterosexuals do. The only time that the government has made an amendment to the Constitution to take away rights was the 18th Amendment--prohibition. The 21st Amendment repealed the 18th. It didn't work. It is no one's business who someone wants to marry. If the people are in love, are good to one another and are committed to spending the rest of their lives together, who is to say that the love is wrong or the union is wrong because it is two men or two women? Heterosexuals have no right to take away the civil liberties of homosexuals. Homosexuals are people, they are citizens, and they deserve the same rights as everyone else.

No, Wedding and Marriage is a man and a woman.
If homosexuals want to get together it should be called something else.
I mean, they have chosen an alternative lifestyle, yet the first thing they want to do is go right back into the mainstream and get married. It doesn't make sense. Not to mention the whole "Bride and Groom" thing. Seriously, which is which?
NO HATERS PLEASE
I'm not against homosexuality, I just like the term "Domestic Partnerships" better.
EDIT
You go, Blonde Beauty!!!

"Do you believe homosexual weddings should be permitted?"
No. A marriage is between a man and woman, period. The happy fellows can come up with some other title for their contractual agreements!

YUCK to the whole idea. Homosexuality is a sin ...an abomination to God....so to use the sacred vows of marriage is also an abomination. I don't hate them; I hate their sin. MARRIAGE is the union of one man and one woman. So the homosexuals need to find something...anything...else to call their union and they need to not march and dance and prance because that just makes people more disgusted with their public displays of ignorance. You can whitewash homosexuality any way you want but sin is sin and I don't want to have it pushed in my face. Gay pride? Who's proud of sin???

What do you mean by permitted? That sounds very bad, like should blacks be permitted to use the same driking fountain as whites? Rephrase before everyone thinks your a biggoted assshole!
As far as the answer.... if the KKK is allowed to have indoctrination cerimonies, or gatherings of any kind, I suppose a gay wedding should be "permitted"
You're a jerk!

YES!!! Absolutely. Marriage is marrige. AS far as Iam concernted who can marry whom shoulc NOT be regulated by legislation. You can't legislate love, any more than you can morality, and since the issue is reaqlly a moral one, the govt. chould stay OUT of it, gay, straight, or any other form of marriage. After all, EVERYONE should have to have the inconvenience of in-laws.

There is something that just doesn't seem right to me about homosexual marriage. Just the thought of it makes me feel uncomfortable. If put before me on the ballot, I would vote against it.

Yes I do. There is no reason why not. Anyone that desires to thump the bible should realize that God has no plans of judging us until the day that he selects, so why would he appoint anyone on this earth to judge us now??? I feel that I should get the opportunity to involve my husband in my life and share the same priviledges as hetrosexual couples.
