First, you need to be a little more mature before you ask a question about something you know nothing about. Second, North Korea is basically bankrupt. 2 million North Koreans starved to death because the country can't support them. If they produce atomic bombs, they will be able to sell them to terrorist or anyone who has the money to purchase one.

The end of the cold war eliminated the fear of a U.S.-USSR nuclear confrontation, but both the US and Russia retain substantial forces. The danger now comes primarily from smaller, less stable nations in more volatile areas of the world that may develop or obtain nuclear weapons capabilities. Kim's stated policy of unifying the penninsula by any means, makes his ownership of nuclear weapons a serious threat to the US and SoKor...not to mention Japan.

There's a big difference between rational superpowers and rogue states led by rogue leaders (even overlooking the incompentency of some of their presidents).

Should a leader of a country, peruse building big and expensive bombs, while his people are starving to death?

If he sat in a bomb shelter, and nuked Japan, or the US, is that suicide? Also, considering the amount of appeasers in this country, and the US, would we even retaliate, if he Nuked Japan?

Yes, it is his country. Can we, the US, allow him to sell his nuclear technology to someone like say Osama Bin Laden????

Think about it.

HE WON'T ATTACK US with them because he knows it is suicide. Japan and South Korea are a different story. Plus there is the chance that he might give some to our good friends Chavez and Castro

Because he's the despot dictator of a rogue nation who will use nuclear weapons to threaten his neighbors. By the way, genius, there's a spell checker on the page, you may want to take advantage of it seeing that you wasted all that money your parents spent on your education.

" No one tells America what we can/can't have " ??

Where did you come up with this little factoid you spelling-challenged individual ??

China has told us for YEARS that we can't get our copyright laws enforced in their country... costing us BILLIONS in trade (that means higher taxes for US Citizens).

All of "Old-Europe" told us where we could go following GW's decision to go into Iraq... they changed their governmental-minds after we finished the invasion.

Iran has tried to tell us TWICE that we can't have access to the Persian Gulf... that cost them their navy.

I will let most of the other responses deal with the IDIOCY and DANGER of Kim Jong Ill...
