it seems as if you have some issues with attention...evidently you are acting out these fantasies to create an illusion of fame or feeling a part of something...as long as you know that you are pretending, then you do not have to worry about a serious mental illness...however, i do suggest that you talk to someone about how you feel, and also get to the root of why you play out these fantasies. But you are not crazy or even that abnormal; it just seems that you have some issues to work out...and i admire you for wanting to accept this about yourself...though, take the next step and see someone about it, and start trying to do things that involve the real you, not a fantasy...im sure that the real person has a lot to offer...good luck

The human mind can create powerful dreams that can take on a life of their own. Used correctly, this can accomplish great things and make the world a better place. I think you are very talented in this way and just didn't know how to use it so now you have built a very strong dream world that has started to take on a life of it's own. You have built what is called, "thought-forms" with your mind. It will take a long time but if you stop putting the energy of your mind and emotions into them, they will slowly fade, but not without a fight. I would VERY strongly recommend against taking meds to do this. Any shrink will tell you that you have some mild form of psychosis and you need to go on meds right away. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't do this! Aside from having horrible side effects, all they do is cut you off from your mind and emotions that you are so giftedly in touch with. Your symptoms will stop not because the problem is fixed, but because you have been cut off from that part of yourself that dreams and makes dreams reality. I wish I could tech you more, you are a very talented person who could help so many and do so much but you have no idea how to use your talents, what they really are, and you have no teachers to guide you. You have a lot more to learn than I could put here. You can email me if you want, or at least read this to get a better idea of what is going on. You can find this book on Amazon.com for about 10 bucks. I would recommend practicing Chi Lel Chi Gong to condition the parts of you that are not being used as they should right now, but that takes a few years to get results. Hang in there, this will not be an overnight change. Remember, you have a great gift and the reason you are experiencing what you are going through is because almost no one else around you knows what it is. Please hang in there and you will be able to change at least some part of the world for the better.

Good luck.

No you're not mad or anything like that, don't go stressing yourself out. You just have an imagination which is massivly active, like me. Perhaps deep down you're a little unhappy with who you are though. But like I said it's not crazy or anything. You'd be amazed how many people probably do similar things. I used to jump about for hours pretending to be a famous guitarist and then conduct interviews after the imaginary gig!!!! I'm a graphic designer now and I love my unique imagination. USE IT DON'T LOOSE IT BABE.

There are 2 things you need to look at to identify why you are doing this:-
1. Look inwardly and ask yourself if there are any emotional/mental problems or issues you are aware of that are bothering you?
2. Look outwardly - are there things/situations/circumstances/people bothering you that may cause this behaviour.
Also try to remember the time when this all started and then think about what was going on around you or in your life. These events may be possible triggers for behavioural change.

It's daydreaming...exercising the imagination and such. I don't think it's a bad thing at all. Just don't get caught, heh. I used to pretend I was on Oprah getting interviewed for some book or another that I'd written.

maybe you could get a job in show biz!
i don't think you need a shrink i think pretending to do these things is an escapism.
mind you i still sing into my deodrant bottle and pretend i'm on stage and i'm nearly 30!! but it makes me feel good after like some form of release!
so perhaps rather than worring about it enjoy it if it makes you feel good!!!!!!!!!

You really need to get evaluated. I am a case manager for a local mental health center and that does sound like something you should be concerned about. It's ok when you are 5 but i don't know about 15.

Seriously do you have many friends I.E. a social life? Most people weather they admit it or not have done silly things like that..Do you do this in public or when your alone? If your alone doing this then you are probably bored or lonely..get out and find something fun to do in a public atmosphere. My mom is a therapist and that is what she told me to tell you good luck ..
