Because you're worth more. If you're alone, there's a high likelyhood that there's something about you that's unlikeable. You've broken up or maybe it's been a long time and you're out of touch.
The best chick magnet is another chick. Or a puppy. If a woman sees you getting along well with another woman, even if it's your sister, or cousin or best friend, that makes you much more attractive.
The best men have LOTS of female freinds. Women they've never slept with but have an excellent friendship with. That means they communicate well with women and that is DARN sexy!!

Didn't you get the memo? Single guys are losers. I don't know why it is but every time I go on a date, someone says something must be wrong with him that he's not married. I never hear that when I date women so it must be a new kind of sexism.

When you are involved with someone else your value skyrockets.
It is just like applying for a job. If you are currently employed you look much better to an employer than someone who is jobless.
In other words, you must be OK if someone else wants you.

Well, I personally never have done this. It is disrespectful to the man as well as to both women involved. I think that once a man is taken, good for him, good luck to ya!....but I think my fellow women are trashy and disgusting for going after a man who is involved with someone...it's just morrally wrong

women like competition, they like to make other women jealous, and we always want what we cant have! so we put effort into getting what wwe want like for example women want you because they know they will have to work for you since u got a girl. when u are single you are probably easy to get.

Double answer: First because when you have someone, you are more secure and confident in yourself, women can sense that.

Or they are just messed up and enjoy screwing with peoples' relationships.
Biggest draw for women in a bar is a marriage ring. Kinda screwy.

Because its a thrill for woman to see if they are sexy enough to pull you away from another woman. Its a game.
It gives them a major self confidence boost that they THINK they are so damn good that you would leave another for them.
(I don't do this..but it does make me mad that woman do do this since I am a woman and they represent woman of all kind)
