when they actually have not a clue. Ask yourself this question. Does the catholic Church condemn the Homosexual?

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

With love in Christ.

We do not condemn the homosexual--just the sin of a homosexual act. I have noticed that all kinds of people want to put themselves across as a Catholic expert and they don't know a real fact about the Church--just some garbage some Catholic hater in the past has told them.

The Catholic Church doesn't condemn anyone. That is God's prerogative, not the Church's. The Church condemns sin, but always extends a loving hand to the sinner, in an effort to help them find the true path to salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The reason there are so many myths and so much ignorance about Catholicism is simple. When you come into existence through a rebellion, you are under pressure to demonstrate that what you rebelled against was BAD, because otherwise your rebellion itself was BAD. The Protestant Rebellion of the 16th century has unleashed upon the world a destructive manmade tradition of continuous fragmentation, conflicting denominations, and doctrinal chaos, in direct violation of the stated will of Jesus Christ, that his followers would all be ONE, with NO doctrinal differences at all, just like He and His heavenly Father are ONE. In a desperate attempt to legitimize this destructive tradition, some of its followers will latch onto any crazy idea about Catholicism that theymay hear. Many of these false ideas flow from professional anti-Catholic bigots like Jack Chick, and before him Loraine Boettner who, while claiming to be Christians, have done more harm to Christianity than Islam or any force outside of Christianity. Armed with this collection of nonsense stories, silly unsubstantiated beliefs, and outright lies, they can than say, "okay, so our tradition is in violation of God's stated will, but just look what we left! It's even WORSE!"

A few such crazy ideas are mentioned above - "Catholics bow down to statues of Mary". You would really have to laugh if it wasn't so sad. Here's a little excerpt from the Catechism of the Catholic Church ... "Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God" ... "Idolatry rejects the unique Lordship of God; therefore it is incompatible with communion with God".

Read and learn. Persist in your ignorance no longer.

because the RCs publish so much about their "doctrin".... enough to show quite clearly that they are not of The True Christian Faith...

specificaly to the homosexual issue. I believe the ordes of the most recent popes do correctly seperate the sin of homosexual behavior from the individual.... For those of The True Christian Faith there is no option given... homosexual acts are an abominatiion in the eyes of God... But The Salvation Message and call from God are to all who will come to God in The Way He proscribes. Even the RCs who will repent of the false teaching... All who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive His free gift of Salvation... even a homosexual may repent.

2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.

Yes, and no. According to the Church on can not be a homosexual and enter heaven as one can not lay with the same sex with out sinning, however one can repent and no longer commit the sin and enter heaven.
