Stay away from leave in conditioners and conditioners with silicon componds in them because they build up on the hair and any moisture or product you put on will not be absorbed by the hair shaft due to the build up use a good shampoo and conditioner from your salon or ask which of your brands havent got the silicon I know panteen has it thats why it stops working after a while.
Use a hair moisteriser with a SPF so the sun doesnt cause damage and dry out your hair and use a syrum if needed only use it on the ends a small amount or your hair will look oily. Also vitamin E and all vitamins minerals and plenty of water is a good diet to keep you and your hair healthy.
Good Luck

Deep condition hair with Vo5 Hot oil once a week. Also don't wash your hair every day;limit to three times a week. Straightening hair is also a good option to control frizz. Also stay away from commercial brand shampoos as these have heavy detergents. I use organic shampoo from Whole Foods. They aren't very expensive and have wonderful scents.

I use the purple shampoo and the light blue conditioner. Sorry I don't know the names. The light blue one smells like coconuts. I have to say that products will eliminate frizziness and not shampoo/conditioner. Some will disagree with me but no shampoo that has garunteed'd me frizz-less hair has worked.
Hope it works!!!!!!!

Conditioner... I have the same problem try leaving your conditioner in for a half hour with your hair wrapped in a towel and rinse it out. It helps enough then brush with a bit of gel.

I swear by pantene products. After one shampoo and conditioning I could tell a differnce by kinky hair turned smooth and curly. Pantene makes products for all races it works and it's affordable. I buy my products from any of the dollar stores it's only $4 for each!
