Well, I think Jesus probably was introduced to some drugs back in the day. People were different back then and their ideas on morality were different.
Many spiritual leaders of early man used drug induced experiences to talk with god. Maybe god is the wrong word here, let's call it the "creative link"
Jesus taught shamanism to the people's of the middle east, no doubt about it.
So Jesus or drugs? Well, all of the above

A lot of people go from alcohol and drugs straight to Jesus. As long as they stay out of jail and don't try to convert others, it is an improvement to society.
