If Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley say it then it is so for if there are truly prophets walking amonst us they they are surely two of them. Amen

In a sense yes. God did give us Rock and Roll in that he gave us all a creative predilection that allows some of us to write Rock and Roll music, while giving others the appreciation of it. The same goes for all forms of music. No music, as a category is inherently insidious. All music, from classical to heavy metal, has themes that are destructive, and those that are ennobling. It is up to the listener to glean what is positive out of music.

I don't believe that rock n' roll is inherently in the soul of everyone. I do believe it can be found in everyone, but it's just not there. You have to find it in the soul.
If you believe that God exists then God gave us everything, right? So, yes.
...And I consciously decided to answer it seriously.

Well, according to Richard O'Brien: "When Heaven's in the music, Hell is in control. The angels got the voices but the Devil got the rock and roll."
However, I think of rock-and-roll as a gift of the Gods, and they certainly put it in my soul. Doo wop be bop.

Yes, we are music. Even physics tell us that. We are nothing but a frequency and vibration- Sound
Here's a good lyric.
Rock and roll is here to stay
It’s better to burn out
Than to fade away
My my, hey hey
Out of the blue and into the black
They give you this, but you pay for that
And once you’re gone, you can never come back
When you’re out of the blue and into the black
The King is gone but he’s not forgotten
This is the story of Johnny Rotten
It’s better to burn out than it is to rust
The King is gone but he’s not forgotten
Hey hey, my my
Rock and roll can never die
There’s more to the picture
Than meets the eye
Hey hey, my my

God gave us EVERYTHING! (even rock and roll) It all belongs to Him. He allows us to enjoy it as long as we need to. The only thing he asks in return is for us to love each other as much as He loves us! Pretty sweet deal huh?

Yes, R&R is one of God's wonderful gifts. No, not for everyone. The music changes generation to generation. Grandma's favorite tunes were once considered radical.

NO! God gave us the abilities to create our own music, but it sure wasn't rock n' roll, nor the blues, nor jazz.
Satan, unfortunately gave that to us.
