my cat is my constant companion, confidant, freind, comfort zone. He goes everywhere with me except to the grocery and to church. He sleeps with me, sits on my desk as I work on the computer, goes walkies with me with or without a leash (depending on where we're going), watches Animal Planet with me, shadows me everywhere in the house. And yes - he talks to me all the time... sometimes too much.

It's not weird at all:) I have 10 cats that are like children to me. Soon, I'll have a human child and that child will have 10 older siblings as far as I'm concerned. My parents have a cat that I consider my brother. My grandparents have a cat that I consider my uncle. My aunt & uncle's dog and cats are my cousins in every way. And my grandmother's dog is my aunt.

I talk and even sing to my babies all the time. They are loving and affectionate. I even have one that tries to intervene when my husband and I fight!

nicely, im uncertain what is going to ensue in ur case, bc each and every animal is diverse and adapts and accepts otherwise. My journey replaced into long and sluggish, and required ALOT of sufferers. I had a cat that replaced into 3 yrs old (male) and he HATED (with hobby) canines. so besides, my mom and dad have been given my little bro a domestic dog. my cat hated him formerly each and every little thing, and for 2 years he could hiss and swipe and so forth on the canines. they does not get alongside! yet now, 2 and a a million/2 years down the track, my cat doesnt thoughts our canines. they do no longer seem to be the main suitable of pals, yet theyre no longer the worst. maximum suitable of success, Amy! (if it facilitates, our canines is a toy poodle, so he replaced right into a tiny little domestic dog, and my cat inflicted no injury on him)

No, I have 2 cats now; a calico and a tuxedo. Their names are Nena and Anna. They both sleep on either side of my head at night, and the tuxedo kitty lets me hold her paw, believe it or not. They are like family. They ask nothing but food and shelter, and they give so much. Its wonderful to come home to them. And I do talk to them!

Bella (my dog, or fur baby), is a member of my family.

I recently participated in a disaster plan with the American Red Cross. And I made it clear to them that there needs to be a plan for people and their pets during emergencies. And they took my recommendations seriously. Once I brought it up, other participants backed me up too.

It broke my heart to see people leave their pets behind during hurricane Katrina. If it happened to me, I would not leave her behind.

My baby is a very important member of my family.

I have two cats - and my husband and I adore them. We unashamedly call them our "childern". They are absolutely a part of our family and we love them dearly. We talk to out kitties, play with them, and let them sleep with us (as long as they behave). I totally understand how you feel about your pet - and agree. They ARE family!
