there are many religions I respect. They teach good principals. My favorite example are Jahovah Witnessess. The are devout people who do everything they can for their belief. If members of other faiths worked half as hard as they do the world would be a better place but I can not agree with their doctrine. Islam is another I hold great respect for. True islam is about peace and love and the desire to find true enlightenment. God bless those that hold strong to the truth contained there in.

I don't personally believe in any organized religions. I do, however, respect the beliefs of ALL organized religions. I do not always respect the individual person in a religion, especially if they are attempting to force their religion upon me after I've politely said "No, thank you".

i respect all religions and beliefs. however i take that to the core of the religion.

Christianity for example. i respect the teachings of Jesus Christ.
but i will quickly tell off anyone trying to force this belief on me or trying to tell me or others that they are going to hell for their beliefs. these individuals i do not respect because they do not respect others.

respect is a 2 way street if you wish to have mine you must give me yours.

I respect people in general, all aspects of their lives. Only ones I do not hold respect for and those types of individuals that do not deserve being respected by others.

Yes. I totally admire and respect true Buddhists. Theirs is a true way of peace. I'd probably be a Buddhist myself, but I beleive in God. I just do not beleive God (or a higher consciousness if you will) is accurately representated by ANY major world religion, and slaughter of any kind in the name of God is atrocious. Why would any higher consciousness dictate violence? I beleive we are all part of that higher consciousness, or God, so we are all in this together. No need for doctrines to seperate us and cause us to destroy one another.
