Then why are so many Christians such narrow minded hate filled people,telling you all about all the people that are going to hell with that little gleam in their eye that says that they would love to be able to watch them suffer. Or that fine religious leader going around to soldiers funerals protesting and saying the soldiers are dying because America lets the fags live here and god hates fags, his words not mine. And is any church trying to stop him? No it took a bunch of bikers to keep this freak away from people funerals,he was even going to do the same thing at the funerals of those amish girls that got shot last week.

Good question Jack. problem is too many people think they know the answers. God is Love. However main stream christian churches are only coming around to this notion. They still need rules and regulations to guide people. Cant be all love if you are going about stealing, doing drugs, robbing etc. See wheere this is going....? Again you need to remember the difference between Catholic and Protestant and Muslim. Unfortunately, Protestant faith has split into a million different denominations, as they place the emphasis on once own conscious. That why you have the Rev Ian Paisley in Northern ireland, a protestant minister preaching a hate filled and violent gospel. Why? because they take the bible literally. the Catholic Church does not. islam takes the Koran literally. That is whay for e.g the Catholic Church does not (contrary to what you will read on sites like this) condemn homosexuals. It also states that absolutely no hate crime should be done against them. It does however teach that the homosexual act is wrong. Now in fairness cant you see why a church, promoting the fidelity and importance of man and wife unions and procreation might not be in favour of such acts? Its not rocket science.........love is there present...but for some they miss the point altogether. remember the catholic church is a broad mix of people....it does well to keep them all together.

I do agree with you on the second question. I don't understand why more people aren't doing something about it. But what can we do? I am glad that the bikers have stepped up and done something about it so far. I would not say that he is a "fine religious leader" because he is not. God does not hate fags. God loves them. God hates the sin that they are in but He don't hate them. God hates all sin. If it is stealing, lying, being gay, or whatever. No sin is greater then another. We all need one Savior and that is Jesus Christ. God loves us no matter who we are or what we do. But the thing is God can't not allow sin in Heaven. So if we steal, lie, commit adultery, or are gay, or have any other sin in our lives we can not enter into Heaven. We have to ask Jesus to come into our hearts and we have to live for him. No true Christian would want someone to go to hell. If you truly are a born again Christian you will want to tell people about Jesus so they can make Heaven their home some day. Keep in mind, all that say they are Christians aren't bottom line. If one is a true Christian you will know by their behavior and the way they treat people. However, Christians are human and do make mistakes, the difference they will ask for forgiveness. And try very hard not to make the same mistake over and over again. Christians are a work in progress, no one Christan or not is perfect. And just for the record, people who are Christians yes they would say that homosexuality is wrong because the bible says so, however, they would also say that sin is sin, and God does not separate one from the other. We within society does the separation. So if you are a liar you are a sinner too. Only God is perfect and Jesus was without sin. God bless

I am not narrow minded..my heart is filled with Love, Peace and Joy.. :) We warn All that they are headed to hell (A place of eternal torment and separation from God) just as we would warn anyone if a flood, earthquake or anything else that could harm you..
There could never be a gleam in my eye to know someone dies and does not know my Lord..it saddens my heart.. :(

The ones you speak of (christians) are not followers of Jesus, for if they were, they would Love their neighbor, no matter what their beliefs were..God does not hate anyone..He hates the sin..He Loves the sinner, He proved this by sending His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for sinners..

If there is such a thing as god (I don't think so, but there's always a small chance), then he/she/it may indeed be the quintessence of love. Who knows.
Religion isn't about love. It's about division -- the Us Tribe versus the Other Tribes. True Believers(tm) can get away with picking-and-choosing which scriptures to follow and what to do in the name of said scriptures. The miserable little man you mention is not unique, merely uniquely horrible.

God question, and its sad. Im goint to tell you something as a Christian. Anybody can tell you that theyre christian, anybody can go to church. Theyre are many people that dont practice what they preach. This is called hipocracy. Many people who claim they are Christian really arent. If you open your eyes to the Lord and allow his spirit to work in you, his wisdom will allow you to identify the hipocrits and the true believer. As for the other part, God doesnt hate the sinner.......... he hates sin.

the God hates **** guy is not a true christian. I have seen many accounts and he does not turn hearts towards the love and sacrifice Jesus had made. He is an extremist and i am sure you can agree that there are extremists in every society. Odd, that the Amish are Christian, why would he go to their funerals? they already have Jesus. and the guy who shot them wasnt gay he was a pedophile.

My idea of god promotes love, but not exclusive to idea.
Love is important in the sense of sharing experience and compassion, but the dream is the most important concept.
My god is about bringing dreams and ideas into the world right now, bringing heaven to earth and seeing it right now, and love does have a part on it.

Never confuse God with a christian. God is not to blame for what his servants do. We are the ones who are making the mistakes. Please keep in mind too that not ALL christians are like the ones who have the public eye on them. I'd like to think I'm normal and a nice person to be around who wouldn't shove things down your throat or hate you cause of you're beliefs ok. =)

You are confusing God with human beings.
God is about love.
There are an awful lot of people out there who have no idea who Christ is, but that doesn't stop them from claiming to be Christians.
According to Jesus (Who ought to know), His disciples will be known for their love...in fact, it was the ONE commandment He gave in His Own right...that we love one another as He loves us.
I know there aren't many like that, but, there ya go...those are His disciples. The rest...well, they don't know Him...and He doesn't know them, either.
Unfortunately, the time will come when He will tell them so.
