Yes, cats and dogs do dream, as well as many other mammals. Surprisingly, even birds dream! I have one cat who purrs in his sleep.....you can hear him across the room...it's not because he's being petted! The rest of my critters just do the usual twitching. I went on a little search. I typed in "dreaming in animals" and got a bunch of sites, most of which I was too lazy to read. See what you find.

Yes, they do dream. And they can even have nightmares and night terrors. Now, as to what they dream about, no one can truly say.
And cats do "talk" but they don't speak any human language. Theirs is a language made up solely of body language and tonal qualities. It is used to convey the most basic of wants and needs. Cats are also capable of learning the meaning of an average of 50 human words. Unfortunately, they cannot repeat them, but they will show they understand.

Yep. they have adequate twitching and sounds. it variety of feels to me that my canines are dreaming approximately working. The cats are far extra effective inscrutable regarding desires. I extremely have seem the two cats and canines have nightmares, besides. at contemporary I actually have a one hundred+ lbs. canines who thinks he's a cat by way of fact he grow to be smaller than mine on a similar time as he moved in. Toss him a ball and he will roll over on his cut back lower back and juggle it in his paws like a cat twiddling with a ball of yarn. he's likewise very desperate approximately sound asleep on his cut back lower back like the cats frequently sprawl - he extremely braces himself up detrimental to a minimum of a few element so he can earnings and carry the region. This makes him snore on genuine of in spite of if extraordinary and amazing little canines/cat hybrid dream he's having. so a ways, I extremely have never seen him have a nightmare, while in comparison with my diverse canines who grow to be rescued and clearly abused by using utilising the previous proprietor. I additionally learn someplace an thought that they are dreaming approximately their day, reliving particular factors of it. i think of it is in all danger as human beings do an comparable variety of situation.

Dogs and Cats both dream. lol one time I was in my living room and my cat was sleeping on the coach and he was trying to run and he was squealing. lol it was pretty funny. And I call my dog squeaky because he squeaks in his sleep. A lot of people say that cats and dogs don't dream but I believe that they do based on what I've seen.

I think they dream about their everyday activities. Running, chasing, sniffing, eating.
My cat does the same thing.
