Ok, I recently moved back in with my mom and I'm working full time, but trying to save money and pay off bills (some that she helped build up or borrowed) Now she is asking me to pay rent to her but is NOT paying me back.

No, I'm not asking her to pay me back for the rent, I'm asking her to pay me back for what she owes me- money she has borrowed in the past, just to clarify.

well, tell her that if she doesnt pay you back you wont loan it to her. doesnt she have a job? well tell her if she isnt going to pay you back you are moving back out. if you are working and earning your own money then, she shouldnt b asking for more money after you give her money. if she does it any more just move out.

Tell mom you will gladly pay rent but less than the asking price because you are still paying for some of the bills she incurred.

But please remember your mom spend a lot of $$$ on you during your lifetime, than you could ever fork out. She carried you for nine months, and oh so much more. Honor your mom. Peace.

She's asking you to pay her rent? Sounds reasonable. She doesn't need to pay you back for that. Unless you're paying all the rent for the place you're living, in which case... stop giving her money until she starts dividing it fairly.

Your Mom needs to quit ever letting your sister borrow money period. Your Mom needs to face the fact that her daughter is only using her and getting money from her to get her alcohol. Plus your sister will do anything to get the extra money for alcohol and maybe even drugs. She locked the keys and wallet in the trunk herself on purpose probably. Your Mom needs to wake up and quit letting her borrow any money ever again. Get your sister some help no matter what it takes.

Your mom wants rent money, not a loan........ if your working full time & living in her house & using the water, heat, phone, etc... you should be paying rent!!!!

Agree to a fixed amount, then deduct it from what she owes you so you're not actually giving her anything until the debt is paid.
