usually 10-15 yards. i hit my 7-iron the same distance here's your probable distances:
Driver:250 yards
3-Wood:230 yards
5-Wood:210 yards
3-I:180 yards
4I:170 yards
5I:160 yards
6I:150 yards
7I:140 yards
8I:130 yards
9I: 120 yards
PW:110 yards
SW:90 yards
LW:65 yards

I'm not trying to brag just an example , I hit my 7-iron 165yds that's normal for me , everybody is different the only way to find out where you are at is to spend time at the driving range to see where you consistently hit each club don't go by what someone else tell's you EVERYONE is different.

depends on your club head speed and where your hands are when you impact the ball. some people have 10 yard gaps some 15 and some more. just learn (practice) how far your gap is, then choke down on the club to adjust how far you hit it. lessons are never a bad idea!

Typically, it's much closer to 10 yards than 20. If you're lucky enough to live in the mountains like I do in Salt Lake, you can add 10% compared to sea level. :o)
