You had to wait 18 hours? That's ridiculous. If they had to pay patients for their waiting time believe me you'd see the doctor quick.
One time my son had to wait , with a broken arm, while the doctors and nurses ate lunch.

Hospitals take patients in order of illness, that may be why u had to wait, there could have been gun shot victims, stabbings, and God knows what else. No lawyer will take your suit.

no you can't but you can negotiate your bill with them and tell them that you could have been making $$ instead of waiting there for a doc to check you out
