You sound seriously depressed. Has something happened to make you feel this way? Or did it just happen for no apparent reason? In either case, I recommend seeing a psychiatrist and/or a therapist. They can help you come to terms with something that may be bothering you or they can prescribe some antidepressants (at least the psychiatrist could) that may help you.

Depression is definitely no fun and my heart truly goes out to you. I hope you find some relief for this problem very soon and can go back to enjoying your friends and video games.

It sounds like you were on overload with too much stimulation. I am going to suggest that you spend a weekend somewhere in a "retreat". Ask your parents to find a place like this for you. It should be isolated in a natural spot. You should feel safe there and not know anyone. I think you just need some "downtime" to recover yourself a bit. You want to find a natural level of balance you can maintain, not a situation in which you drag yourself from one extreme stimulation to the next. Practicing Yoga can help you too.

It sounds like you are suffering from clinical depression. This is a physical problem caused by stress and changes in the chemicals in your brain. It does not mean you are going nuts. Depression can be cured. I went to a therapist who referred me to a psychiatrist. I felt like I was a failure for doing it, but I learned that it was a physical problem. This changed my whole perspective. When you are clinically depressed you don't care about anyone or anything. You know you hurt and that's all that matters. Whatever you decide I'm putting you in the pocket of my heart for daily prayer. Good luck

Tell your doctor about these faded feelings. It may just be a simple chemical imbalance that's easily treated. To the person going through it it feels like there's no hope, but in reality it's a fairly simple treatment.
Hope you feel better again. your friends and family will support you in the few weeks it takes to get adjusted again. make your appointment. You're worth it.

I understand. I am numb, too. I think it is a coping device for when things get really rough. Gradually, with those I trust, I am getting back in touch with those feelings. I think therapy and some medication helps. Journaling to remember what you love, hate, want, etc. aids. Sometimes you do have to fake it til you make it.
