He said he sees things happening with us, but that he just doesn't
have time to invest right now. And he doesn't know when he will have time.

I told him I need more (we have been dating for 10 months, 5 serious).

He said he wants to take time to think about what he wants his priorities to be right now. I told him I have been patient and understanding, but that I don't want to waste my time.

I would just go about your way and not allow him to waste anymore of your time. When you are absent in his life, he'll find out real quick if he really wants to be in your life.
The good thing for you, is that you'll no longer have to worry about losing anymore of your precious time on him.

He's trying to say that he doesn't want to continue to see you as much, if at all. And after 10 months of dating, you deserve all or nothing. You deserve someone who includes you in his priorities at ALL times, not just when it's convenient for him. What he is doing is a cop-out. Unless of course you don't think your worth a guy who wants to be with you more than anything. He's not the only guy in the world who goes to school and has a girlfriend.

Dump the jerk. He'll either come running back apologizing and prioritizing you, or he'll let you go. You want a man who will fight for you, not a man who doesn't care.

If you have already wasted 10 months with a guy who cant commit... then YOU are wasting your time with him... Move on. Find a guy who can commit and who wants to be serious with you, unless the way things are goin is ok with you, then you have to do what is right for you.

that means he is not ready for a relationship yet...he's probably dating other people..I had the same situation happen to a friend and it turned out to be that the guy was seeing other girls. You can do better, if he doesn't want to commit move on.

he is still not sure about his feelings and who you are for him , and it is clear that you do not come in his first priority yet , give it a chance but not for a long time.

i was in a similar situation. i ended up waiting for a long time. and it ended up as nothing. but, if you really think its worth it then go for it. and if you think things will happen then stay. is he worth waiting for?

That means he wants his space and the freedom to screw other girls. Try not to get hung up on him too much...I know it's hard.
