To become Wicca you have to be initiated into a British Traditional Witchcraft coven – this is a coven that has a direct line to either Gardner or the New forest Coven, this is because there is an unbroken line, this line is important because only those initiated into Wicca are considered Wicca, i.e. part of the priesthood, and only those who are Wicca are taught the inner-court material.
Because Wicca is a priesthood and because it keeps many of it's beliefs, practices and doctrines secret from those outside of Wicca, this includes even the names of the gods which Wicca follow, there is no way to become Wicca without this initiation – side note, there is no such thing as 'self-initiation' only self-dedication onto the path.
Seekers are expected to know a certain degree of information on Wicca, so to begin with study as if you don't know how to become Wicca chances are you are no where close to being ready to become Wicca. It is then a case of finding a coven, or less you finding them as they find you as often covens keep themselves to themselves to avoid an influx of people contacting them begging to be coven members. Getting involved with local Pagan gatherings helps you to find local covens if there are any, but be aware not everyone who claims to be Wicca are – another important point is that you need to be well-informed enough to be able to tell someone who is Wicca from someone simply claiming to be Wicca for the sake of looking 'cool' in front of others.
Within Wicca you have to be over 18, although there have been exceptions most will say over 18 or sometimes even older not just because they can get into trouble legally if they accept younger due to the rituals they perform as well as problems with parents who may not accept their children's path. As Wicca need to be sure it is the right path for them, dedicated, and also because they have to be able to achieve a certain degree of understanding to understand the mysteries within Wicca as well as take their oaths seriously.
Like many others – I have no idea what you mean by 'language' there is no special language within Wicca, unless I've missed a memo.
This site is a reliable Wicca web site and has a good article addressed to Seekers [those seeking to become Wicca or seeking a coven]; http://www.newwiccanchurch.com/seekers/index.htm

If you are a solitary practitioner you may or may not want to preform an initiation/dedication ritual. If you're working with a coven then there is almost always a dedication ceremony and later an initiation ceremony.
Most covens won't officially allow people under the age of 18 to initiate, but there are no clear rules on the subject. If you're working alone (or if it's a family thing) then you decide.
As for learning the language: if you're refering to the terminology used then you learn by experience and reading and asking people. If you're refering to runes or other things then there are some books on the subject as well as people who are more than willing to teach.

To become a Wiccan, you have to be initiated by a Wiccan coven, introduced to the Wiccan God and Goddess, and learn the Wiccan Mysteries. Legitimate covens will not initiate people under 18 unless they've had express permission from the parents. What do you mean by "language"? There are magical alphabets, but you can find the codes easily online.

To become a wiccan you must do a self dedication ritual. When I joined my first coven they had me do that a year and a day before being initiated. Most covens won't take anyone under the age of 18 without parent permission. There really isn't another language in wicca, just some slang that you can pick up in books, but there is in some ceremonial magick (hebrew and greek and latin and enochian and such)

I'm not a Wiccan, but as none of our friendly neighborhood Wiccans seem to be around at the moment, I'll give it a whirl.
I don't know if there's a proper "initiation" to actually become a Wiccan, as there are many solitary practitioners (this may vary according to proper traditions). I do know that there is usually an initiation process to join a coven, and I've not heard of a coven that would initiatie someone below the age of a legal adult.
What language are you speaking of? Or do you just mean the terminology?

Most solitary Wiccans use a dedication ritual to the God and Goddess to assert their intentions as a Wiccan. Otherwise if you are looking for something more traditional check out Witchvox.com to find a nearby coven to initiate you. Covens all have their own traditons but most want you to study for a year and a day before initiating you as a first degree Wiccan. Good luck

I am a Celtic Pagan, but i too have studied the Wiccan Religion.
some will tell you that you need to be initiated into a coven first. some will tell you that you can initiate yourself. most will tell you that if you believe in the concepts of the religion that you already are.
I would reccomend that you learn solitary for awhile and read everything that you can first. then look for a coven that holds true to your beliefs. every coven is different.
Be Blessed and Blessed Be.

well as far as i know wiccan doesnt have a language. just whatever language you already speak. yes you are right. the Wiccan people have a great appreciation for nature and the universe. as far as the devil goes.....they dont even beleive he exists. how can you worship what you dont beleive in???
The Wiccans beleive in more than one god but they focus the most on the goddess. im not Wiccan but im too very interested in it. Its like it calls to you. I met one Wiccan 5 years ago after not even knowing what it was. since then ...quite by accedent ive met many more. no i really dont beleive its evil...Wiccans are very accepting and peaceful.

There is no language to learn, it isn't from a foreign country. Most covens only accept over 18's, but some will accept younger if your parents say it is ok. You can also study alone and become a solitary, and despite what some will say, you don't have to join a coven to be a Wiccan.

blessed be seeker. it is about feeling a connection "a oneness" to nature and all living things. to study and feel the ebb and flow of natural energies. the seasons, the tides, etc. i am a solitary practitioner. a person who is alone for most of my personal rituals and practices. therefor if you choose solitary then you are already a Wicca(witch) if you wish to become a part of a (circle, coven, grove) group of wiccans then look on places that advertise local groups and check them out. they will tell you the requirements they have to being a member. each high priestess determines the rules and policies of the group she is maternal to.
a good place on line to find interesting groups and activities/ events in your area is

its a good website for all things Wicca/pagan
