Where you go to get your marriage license just ask and they should tell you. My husband and I went to City Hall one of the clerks was the one who married people. We just made an appointment and went back to city hall. She did a small ceremony and we paid a fee fro it. I don't remember how much but it wasn't alot.

Call your local courthouse, ask for "the marriage license clerk" and ask them. Fees, length and guidelines will vary from state to state and even from county to county.

Basic requirements are usually birth certificates of both parties and a fee for the license, then another fee for the officiant. You might need to make an appointment. Other than that, it's probably pretty simple, show up and say "I do."

Good Luck!!

I'm not sure how it works in Nebraska, but in California you can get a marriage license from the county clerk (70.00 in L-A) and make an appt for a civil wedding. I think you need 1 or 2 witnesses. Not too complicated.

I had a courthouse marriage and all it costs in the us unless it has changed is whatever it costs you to buy your marriage license. My wedding in kentucky cost me 39.45. The judge is one of your choice as long as they are ordained to do so which most are and they come with marriage( they're free). GOOD LUCK!!!!

If you call your local courthouse they should be able to tell you. I don't live in Neb so I can't help much, but I know that if you call them that they'll tell you. Or you can look them up online and I am sure that it will tell you there too.

The cost varies from place to place. The entire ceremony takes less than half an hour. You should check at your local City Hall for the full and complete information you're looking for.

Depends on where you live. USA, out of country, which state, town, county? All places have different laws and fees. It might be around $35=40.00 for the license. Plus the judge sets his own personal fee to perform the ceremony.

when you get your marriage license ask for the judges that hold wedding ceremony's there at the court house and the person that is doing your marriage license will give you a paper that has names and there phone # that way you can call the judge and then he or she will give you a time and the cost you will pay to them . when me and my hubby got married it cost us just for are marriage license and nothing for the judge. good luck honey!
