First off religion os a never ending cycle of ridicule and allegations. Second of all you need to look into things before you open your fat azz yap. It was said in the Qu'ran, that Jews were the chosen people to enter heaven, Jews WERE until they let Allah down and he said they will all go to HELL!! You answered your question when you said you were Jew, it is a WELL KNOWN fact that Jews and Muslims HATE each other. Islam is a religion, just as is Jewish, Christian, and Hiduism. They are all religions, if they are right or wrong, no one can say, but believe in your heart and follow your own path to what you feel is right and stop criticizing others for what they CHOOSE to believe. This is a FREE country, well if you are in the USA anyways, and everyone has a right to choose what they want to for their own lives. No one said you could not be Jewish did they? And no one ridiculed you for being born into that religion did they? There are boundries that you are crossing with this type of question and ridicule, people are born into or convert for a reason and that is THEIR choice. It is not for anyone to say that they are right or wrong. Instead of worrying about what everyone is doing in their life, worry about yourself when you die and if your religion was right or wrong, you will see on that day! Until then good luck and try to be kind to all people instead of looking at their religion, look at who they are as a person, it feels much better and it is nicer too.

David,
You are a Christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades Christianity.

. It is, by definition, impossible for it to be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".
. On the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). Clearly this isn't about jesus.
. And Isaiah 7 is clearly not messianic if you read the whole chapter. and "alma" doesn't mean virgin either. You'd know that if you spoke hebrew (I guess it wasn't part of your "extensive jewish upbringing", huh?)
. On the side, Isaiah 9 can't be about jesus since, according to christianity, he's the "son" not the "father" (as the verse states). Nor did he have control of the government (to the contrary, the roman government killed him). And he certainly did not establish "endless peace".

oh, and lastly, I've decided that you truly epitomize everything I find intensely intellectually unsatisfying about christianity. (And you clearly do not understand hebrew.)

dead bodies don't bleed, and what happened at the crucifixion site when the side of the chest on the cross was stabbed by the spear came forth blood and water.Anyone knowledgeable with human anatomy will state that the stab is not a fatal wound unless it got infected. The man on the cross was hanged and nailed there for almost three hours and it was not designed to kill. The design of the cross was to torture anyone there for more than three days and three nights until the victim dies of dehydration, shock, over exposure to heat and cold or others.
at the tomb, some women were to bring herbs and other stuff , then why would they do that to a dead body, it is not their practice for embalment.it most certain is for the healing of the wounds.

True he will lay down his life. But he is not dead yet.his mission in this world is not yet over.as muslims we beleive what is in the Quran.i guess we have to believe totally ,without asking many questions.i thnk all the three religions believe that Jesus didnt have a Human father.the Angel came and gave the good news to virgin Mary that a son will be born to her.To Muslims Jesus has the spirit of God but he is called a prophet, like Moses,Abraham,Muhammed and the others.but islam is against calling Jesus son of God.u ask why.but that only God knows.anyway as far as i know jesus is considerd more human in islam and he is considered as a god in christianity.and even though all the Books are against idol worship ,i see there is a lot of idol worship in christianity.well i just hope Jesus comes down to earth fast and solve all the problems.lets pray for that day.

Muslims don't just make things up!
They simply believe what God has told them to believe in; and the Qur'an, the divine message from God, has made it very clear that Jesus was not crucified.
If you believe that it is possible for God to renew his message to mankind after becoming distorted by the few who replaced the divine words of God with their words of convenience, then you would believe what the Qur'an has told you.
Islam is a religion for everyone, not just the people who live in Arabia...

Jesus death is pictured accross the entire Bible by all theprophets...
-Joseph being sold to Egypt as a slave, but being raised to Pharoahs right hand
- Noah's ship being lifted off the ground to save the world
- Esther putting herself under the curse of the law to save her people when she went before the king
but wow... when you look at Isaiah 53... take a deep breath
7 times it says HE WILL BE REJECTED
7 times (or more) it says HE WILL SUFFER FOR OUR SINS
7 times and ways it says HE WILL DIE
7 times it says HE WILL OVERCOME DEATH
when God says something twice Joseph and Daniel said its a DONE DEAL... but wow... IS 53 is so repetative it must be really important to God
perhaps many muslims stumble over a Messiah of God, doing such a thing of humilty and suffering, it sounds too much like defeat... but it is vicotry and the ultimate victory for Jesus to walk out of the tomb.
If God so choose to send Jesus as God's son offering the power for adoption for others by God and dying on the cross are stumbling points... but if God so chooses to bring salvation and those two things
then who am I to oppose the almighty God
