These are all just allegations. There are no facts that justify their alligations. They are saying that Mohammed (PBUH) was the one who wrote Islam and that Allah is just a figiment of Mohammed's (PBUH) imagination and that the religion is worshiping him. That is not true. Islam is the religion of submission to Allah and his will, Allah is God no one else and Mohammed (PBUH) was only a messenger. The Qu'ran is the truth of Islam and the religion believes that the words are the true words of Allah (God). Allah is the all mighty and powerful, creator of all things, Mohammed (PBUH) was chosen by Allah to spread the word of Islam so that everyone would get a chance to hear the truth. Whether you believed it or not was your choice. I have been Muslim now for about 5 years, I converted because my husband is Muslim and I got interested in his religion and read all that I could find. There are TOO MANY sites these days that BASH ISLAM that it is hard to know what is true. If you read the true Qu'ran, then you would see a massive difference!! As for the comments on the multiple wives, the Qu'ran states that if you are going to have more than one wife up to four are permitted provided you are able to be equal and fair among them including your love (which is impossible). If you can not be fair it is suggested that you keep just one, which is what most men do these days anyways!! It also states that you have to be able to support them all financially, so if you can not, then you can not have more than one wife. And to East Magic who says she was Muslim and listed all the things of Islam and wrote that you have to believe in the books (Qu'ran, Torah, Bible) The Qu'ran is the only book that we as Muslims be concerned with, not the Jewish book of Torah or the Christian book of the Bible. Also it is the 5 Pillars of Islam, are you new? Anyways, what about you Christians? You worship Jesus, that is a SIN!! There is no Trinity, that is a LIE!! I hope that this helps you better understand islam, email me if you have any other questions, I will help the best that I can!! Good luck!!

Islam is the last Heavingly Religion from God. The order is Judaism, Christianity, and then Islam.
- Muslims believe that there is no God but Allah (and let me explain the word Allah for you later because a lot of people get it confused), and that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah...
- Muslims don't believe that Muhammad is the only messenger of Allah, this is WRONG, we believe in Moses and Jesus, as well as all the prophets that came before them, may peace be upon them all
- Islam forbiddens:
Disbelieving in God
Cursing the Prophet and the Holy Men that followed him
Killing oneself, or killing others
Black magic
Not giving money to the poor
Disobeying your parents
Cutting off with relatives
Adultery, homosexuality
Taking money from the poor or needy unrightfully
Lying to people
Showing-off in front of others and over liking of oneself
False testimony (as in a court of law)
Drinking alcohol
Gambling
Saying bad things about people, especially about women
Stealing
Injustice
Bribery
Women imitating men, and men imitating women
Knowing about evil, and being silent about it
Cheating
Disbelieving in faith
Eves dropping on people
Cursing other people
Not being loyal
Disobeying the husband (only if he’s a good person)
Hurting people
Hurting neighbors
Men wearing silk or gold
Underweighting (ex. When a grocer sells you 750grams of potatoes for the price of 1kg)
Not being loyal to a dead person’s will
Spying on others and telling about them
You might think “Oh my God, Islam forbiddens all the fun things in life”…But don’t look at it this way, look at it from the point of view that infact all of the things Islam forbiddens are the bad things in life. The things that would distract a human being, or cause him to be an unloved person. Think about it Mandy…
This was just a basic idea about Islam, and what Muslims believe in. I hope I was helpful with my humble answer, and I hope you think clearly about everything you have just read. Thank you very much for giving me the chance to explain Islam to you. Take care, and Allah be with you…
Kind Regards,
Mohammed Abu Gabal
A Muslim Egyptian Student
*about the word Allah: The word Allah is one of the names that Muslims call God with. Muslims believe that there is only ONE God, but the "namings" might be different. What people get confused is they think that Allah is something different from God. NO, Muslims believe in ONE God only, which also Jews and Christians worship…Other names for Allah is: The Merciful, The Powerful, The Light, The Living, The Peaceful, The Creator, The Forgiver, The Giver, The Knowledgeable, The Wise, The Kind, The Great, The Generous, The Rightful, The Patient

Okay, I was going to copy something, but you are going to make me write it out. Muslims believe in the religeon of Islam, the second largest religeon and growing. Islam means "submission to the will of God" and means to "strive after the ideal". Islam and Muslim are derived from the same Arabic word for "peace".Muslims believe in the divine Revelations of many prophets including Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, but do not believe God assumed human form. They believe in the Quran as Gods word and final Revelation to the Prophet Muhammad. Thousands of sayings in it are attributed to this prophet; some accepted as authentic, some from his companions, and some the subject of debate. The beliefs are : all persons are equal under GOD; goodness is the only criterion of worth; there is no priesthood in Islam; even a child who has greater knowledge of the Quran than his elders , may lead them in prayer. Some other beliefs are:" the first thing God created was the intellect", " the most excellent Jihad is that for the conquest of self", " the ink of the scholar is more holy than the blood of the martyr", "one learned man is harder on the Devil than a thousand ignorant worshippers", "no man is a true believer unless he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself", "heaven lies at the feet of mothers", "woman are the twin halves of men", "actions will be judged according to intentions". Anyway there is much more you can read. So just in case you want to here is a website www.twf.org Good luck and thanks for asking.

Muslims worship the same God of Jews and Christians. They believe in the 140,000 prophets send to earth by God, including Jesus and Muhammed. They do not worship Muhammed. They believe in the oneness of God and not the Trinity. Becoming a Muslim is very easy. Just say sincerely that you believe that there is no God but the one God and Muhammed is his prophet. That is the starting point. As for the comment below regarding multiple wives.... in the time of Jesus, men had multiple wives. The New Testament does not disallow multiple wives. This is a secular law. The reason for multiples wives is for a widow to be taken care of by her brother-in-law. There simply are not enough men to go around for all the women.

they believe that abraham was told to sacrifice ishmael, that it is prophesied in the bible that mohammed would come, and that jews made corrections to the bible and that the new and revised version was given to mohammed. it is completely different from christianity because there is no remission for sin. ther eis no sacrifice made, works are the only thing you can do to get into heaven, and that if you even doubt your faith you could lose your place in heaven. (christianity believes that isaac was to be sacrificed by abraham, Jesus is the redeemer for our sins, and works are nothing without faith in Him. In christianity, you can study other faiths, it is encouraged, because if you truly want the truth, God will give that to you and show you the way no matter what you read or even if you question christianity.)
