Do you have children? You will probably teach your children things your parents taught you. Some people might find your customs weird. We can only teach what we have been taught...right or wrong.

Can't your ways be unusual too? What the ****? Not all Chinese are Buddhists, it's a honor to ancestors. I always found that lovely, and red is a lucky color if the believe in the custom.

Unusual is a very subjective term. If you find someone else to be unusual, it's likely that they find you to be unusual too. Your way is just as unusual as everyone else's.

Different cultures.And some Chinese are a religion called Buddest.As well as Richard Gere and Tina Turner and they are not Chinese.

it all started in babylon- when God mixed up the languages- we adopted some of the pagan traditions and they as well
