are you not scared of your mother in law

Are you afraid of her?
or hostile to her?
or anything else besides nice and friendly to her?
Your dog could be sensing what you feel about her, and could just be acting on that. Or she could smell funny, or she might not like dogs, or she might make weird movements which could scare the dog. Or maybe your dog is just smart (lol, jk). It could really be anything.

have you had your dog sice it was a puppy, do you know the history behind him. She may have a trait that reminds him of someone who abused or mistreated him in the past. THey can since if someone does not like them. My dog seems to be able to since if someone is mentally unstable. He also doesn't like ciggerettes. if you are wanting him to get over this try having her give him a treat everytime she is around. but don't allow her try to force the dog into liking her. THis will only make this harder

Dogs take after their owners. My dogs only bark at the neighbors that I don't like. Also they can sense bad people.
