I think you mean that we help perpetuate it, not that we support it.

I agree. But it isn't as if we are given a choice.

That may be true, but if it is I do not do so knowingly or voluntarily.

I cast my first ballot in a presidential election in 1960, Richard Nixon vs. John F. Kennedy, and I have voted in every election since then. I have never witnessed such a disconnect between the American people and their national political leaders as exists right now on the topic of illegal immigration. We are witnessing the spectacle of the American people telling their government as unambiguously as they can what the people want, and the government simply ignores them. Blatantly ignores them, without even going through the motions of attempting to respond to the people's concerns. I have never before seen such a thing in this country.

I do support immigration, but put the word illegal in front of it and my support evaporates immediately.

I have not yet heard a coherent defense of the concept of illegal immigration from anyone, anywhere, at any time. All i've heard is a lot of hot air. When will we have an intelligent national debate on this topic?

If by support you mean finance, yes I do know. the last time I checked the American voters were not given a choice. They will this year make their choice. If our Representatives do not support us on securing our borders and reducing the flow of illegals, they will be replaced. I don't care if prices go up , because we have to pay Americans to do the work that illegals do now. Any company that hires illegals should be prosecuted . No excuse to break the law.

Only some perpetuate, because they are greedy, I do not suppport it in any way, I don't higher or support it. But I no some do. If the government would listen to the American people and stop them at the border, we wouldn't be having this problem. Our government has been kind to the illegals, we gave them amnesty in 86, we have ignored them coming over for years, and now we are in trouble for it, because if you give an inch they will take a mile. So now we are saying enough is enough this has got to stop. So now that we say this all of a sudden we are racists, because they don't get their way, well that is just to dam bad.

So what? That still doesn't make it right!

And I know for a fact that I do not "support" it. The reason it still exists is because the government hasn't done anything about it till now.

Did you know that on the "Day Without Immigrants" that businesses on the Las Vegas Strip made MORE money when the protests were going on? So their little "protest" didn't mean squat?

If so many people support illegal immigration then why is the movement failing so badly? It has been in a tail spin since illegals and their supporters demonstrated against the American government.

I guess people buy stuff that illigal immigrants may have helped in producing. It's hard to know since there is no label.

They work in meat packing plants, and I buy meat sometimes.

That doesn't mean I want illegals. I'd still like to stop of them so we know who is in the country. They cause workers to be less valuable and get paid less money.

Do you realize that in many, many ways you support President Bush? Even if you're opposed to him.

I know that, we all want to pay cheap for services and vergetables, right? LOL

Pancha, let me use your question to adress that skinhead called "TomCruise" who in another answer called us Mexicans "mongrels". It is sad to see that still after the tragedy of the holocaust in nazi Germany, there is still lunatics out there who use that name to brand other human beings, and I would like to ask him in what way do you feel superior to mexicans? It is obvious that you lack in intellect, so. What makes you better...that you arw white? Aryan, what ah? You and others like you are a sorry and poor pretension of a human being, not even getting there. You, you...embody the worst in human nature. The sublimity and the hieghest and noblest of the hyuman spirt does not reside in you. you are mr Jekell. You are a disgrace to the human race. You are gonna die hating and uhpappy, sorry for yourself and what difference was it there then eh? death is the great equalizer, and better for you that there is no creator, because if there is one, you will have a bad time after that.

Yes. And, I am quite happy to hear about when officials nail the people responsible for keeping it going. And, no. I don't mean the illegals. I mean the crooked businesses, and their managers..
