The other week i got my girlfriend some flowers i put them in the boot of my car with a note, then went in to see her. i told id left my wallet in the car and asked if she wouldnt mind getting it for me. she got it found the flowers and the note, she was absoloutly thrilled, then i hid chocolates up for her and gave her a set of questions to find them. Question is does anyone have any other crazily romantic ideas like that. Cause she really loves them and i love setting them up and prepearing them for her.

Buy a cute or "mushie" bookmark, inscribe it on the back with a love message, and leave it in a book you know she is reading.

The next time you have a meal at home (hers or yours), when you set the table, turn her plate upside down and hide a small gift under it ... a bracelet, necklace, earrings, or some other small token of your love. It doesn't have to be expensive ... it IS the thought that counts!

Buy a book of the kind you know she likes to read, put a love note in it, and leave it on her bedside table to be discovered.

At Halloween (Oct. 31 - USA), [Are you a Brit? I just noticed the "boot" ... here, we'd say "trunk."] find a cute or funny trick-or-treat bag and fill it with sweets and treats that have notes attached. (You could use Post-It notes cut into heart shapes...be sure the sticky strip is included at the top of the hearts.) For example:
Little box of red hots (little heart-shaped cinnamon candies) - "My love for you is red hot!"
Little bag of peanuts - "I'm nuts about you!"
A little packet of Hershey's Kisses and Hugs - "I'll give you all my hugs and kisses, and hope you'll give me yours in return!"
Her favorite flavor of Lifesavers - "You are my life saver ... Let me be yours!"
A beautiful apple - "You are the apple of my eye!"
A banana - "Without you, I'd go bananas!"
An orange - "Orange you glad we met?"
A perfect peach - "You are peachy keen!" or "You're a real peach!"
A perfect pear - "We make a perfect pair!"
A box of her favorite tea - "You suit me to a "T"!"
... You've got the idea. The candies are American brands, but you can do the same kind of thing fitting your local ones. You could save some of these for use at a later date.

Take 2 clean bandanas (large handkerchiefs), fix a little picnic lunch for each of you (a sandwich, chips or veggie sticks, piece of fruit or dessert, juice box, etc.) and tie each one up in a bandana and tie the bandanas to the ends of two sticks ... hobo-style. Then, tell your girlfriend that you are both running away from home for the day, give her one of the lunch-on-a-stick poles, carry the other yourself, and hike to a nice park or private spot to eat your picnic lunch. (Oops ... hoboes are probably another American phenomenon!)

If I had longer, I could think up more, but I've gotta get to an appointment. Have fun! Your girlfriend is lucky to have someone caring and inventive like you!

Scavenger hunt. Have the answers pretty obvious, but it should take some time (even all day; have her driving around town!) then end up in the bedroom or a nice hotel, even. Each stop should have some little gifts waiting, too. Like you said, the flowers, chocs, etc

Candle light dinner, a walk in the park, or dancing. Take a pick cause I got more.
