The true meaning of melting pot,
I love being so divided between races, because it helps me to understand all the vast races America has.
It makes me interesting and not like the masses. I have taken a little peice of all those culters and adopted them into my life. I feel because I have such a vast variety of cultures, i cannot be racist, because I would be racist against myself

Sephardic Jew, (although raised a TOLERANT Christian) English, French and Dutch.
I've tried to learn about them all and identify them all. (My mom says the Jewish DNA is strongest and describes my Jewish moods.) I've also tried to learn about other cultures. The world is so rich with wonderful ingredients--sweet, spicy, savory and surprise.
The ingredients of humanity are head, heart and soul--everything else is just a different way to spice it up. And the more spices we have in our cabinet--the more delicious life is.
Speaking of food and "ingredients," if world leaders sat down and served a civilized meal that they themselves prepared with dishes from every country, I bet we could work out our differences.

Huguenot and Scots-Irish.
I like wood-aged chardonnay, salmon BBQ'd on oak scraps, women who laugh at my jokes, crusty French bread, well-documented COBOL programs, hard-boiled detective stories, old cats who will come when I whistle, even though they are flatulent, the second movement of Beethoven's seventh symphony and the smell of woodsmoke on chilly evenings.

I'm puerto rican, indian, maltese and greek.
So I'm half white and half indo-hispanic.
I look more indian/hispanic than white because I have brown skin and dark wavy hair. I don't really like being from many different places because it can get rather confusing and hard to understand each culture but then I love being so exotic. No one can correctly tell where I'm from untill I tell them.

The concept of "race" is a dangerous myth and totally unscientific. I urge you to explore the work of noted anthropologist, Ashley Montagu. Virtually all human are of "mixed" ethnicity.
