yeah. I've also had people ask me if I think they are going to answer me. In a way they do. Of course not speaking, But if you ask the right things and interact/know your pet they do tell you what they need or want

Sadly, yes I do. I have a pug named Cosmo who gives me a lot of funny little looks. He tilts his head to the side when I talk to him, almost like he is pondering what I am saying. I usually ask him how he is feeling and what toy he wants to play with.

to be completely honest all animals should be treated like they are part of the family...short sentences and questions yes but not a whole conversation with them..

sure how do you think you train your dogs,sometimes you have to yell at them and sometimes especially puppies you have to bind with the puppies by talking very sweet to them
