Key word is "girlfriend", not wife. She isn't entitled to s***. Only written law or agreement is valid, in the United States anyways

How do you owe her $10,000? Did you asked her to borrow money? If never asked to borrow money or anything, I don't think you owe her anything. In relationships you spend a lot investing in them, but it's on your own risk. If the relationships is destroyed, then it is. All the time and money you spent on them, just disappears along with the relationship. There's nothing else you can do about it because you knew you took that risk when you got into a relationship.

alright, you now owe me $10,000 dollars because you're a total dumb *** and that's how much it will cost you for this advice. Possession is 9/10's of the law. She can claim all she wants, but without the money in her hand, it's a moot point.

Legally she can't get the money, but you know you owe her something more valuable then money, you owe her respect.

Tell her to get lost. She's a gold-digger. If she was any good, you wouldn't have strayed. Dumb Girl! Good Luck!

You can always deny it if it comes to that. Since there's no proof of it.
