I am 16 and my height is 5' and .5" I weigh 114 lbs. Is that a good weight? or do you think I need to lose more. If you think I need to lose more, how much?

Thanks for the help!

It's 5; 1/2" sorry, I just realized that you can't really see the . before .5

Weigh what you want to weigh.

Anyway, that seems like a fairly healthy weight to me for a girl your age and height.

There is really no right answer to that question.
I learned a long time ago, that it's the body mass index number that matters, not the number on the scale.
If you are toned, then your weight is fine.
At your height, 114 is certainly acceptable, but it all depends on the muscle.
I have a friend your height, who is too skinny at 110, and another who is 5' 2" who looks a little chunky at 120.

It actually depends on your bone structure, but even if you are small boned, you are still a few pounds under the recommended weight for your height.

If you feel good and are exercising and eating well (at least most of the time :) ) your weight is fine.

BTW...don't let your friends influence what you do or don't do. Real women have curves.

Your weight is right on target actually. You're in your ideal BMI range. I wouldn't suggest losing any more weight. If anything, you ought to tone up to make you look leaner. I'm not saying you should jump into weight training but lean muscle can't hurt.

According to your BMI you are at a healthy weight, and if anything you could gain a few pounds as you are already close to the minimum for a healthy weight

Yeah that is perfectly fine. You should only lose weight if you really want to or feel unhappy or if your body fat percentage is too high, ie over 25-30%. HTH : )

is that 5'5" or 5'½"? for 5'½", that is a good weight. for 5'5", that sounds too thin. but it all depends on bone structure.
