as a result of the Southern Border being wide open, has he also made it easy as pie for terrorist's to come here & kill Americans ? Every year, since we invaded Iraq we Txpayers donate over 90 Billion dollars to the Iraq war, which is a huge waste. Would you American Taxpayers be OK with spending 45 Billion dollars to seal up the Mexican border air tight.?

The preamble to the constitution says ...insure domestic tranquility...the fact that bush, republicans & democrats are not following the wishes of the majority certainly does not insure domestic tranquility...so not only have they failed... they have not lived up to their oath sworn to before God!
I would be willing for my tax dollars be spend to protect America rather than a bunch of muslims that don't want protection! I think our borders should be full of the military with live bullets - aren't our borders as important as that of a foreign country?

Yes, the president let us down. Not only did he let us down, he uses the excuse of homeland security to violate every right we have. He is not concerned with the borders, that is why it is still an issue. He wants Mexico, Canada, and the US to become a one country and only have one currency. The currency is said to be called the dollero. In secret, he signed a unilateral agreement with Canada and Mexico. This is all supposed to take affect in 2008. We will have to carry a card that states that we are citizens in "North American...", whatever it is called. Without this card, we will not be able to do anything with money.
So, why should he worry about immigration and illegals, he has already signed this country over.

Two questions:
1. What's airtight to you... and
2. How many Americans have been killed by terrorists in the US since 911?
At one I'd say airtight isn't just impossible but silly. At two I'd say since none have died, it hasn't been a waste, however more than 40,000 people have died in the "war of terrorism" and more than 5 000 billion dollars have already been spent (some of which is actually not paid yet). So, yeah... I'm feel like someone failed me.

Yes. We should seal our borders, but not just the southern borders but the northern borders too. I would like to stop the influx of illegal immigration from the south, but we must stay aware of the northern border as well. If we concentrate purely on the Southern border, we may as well put up a sign on the northern borders that says "Terrorists enter here".

Yes that would be a much better use of our money. The percentage of people in favor of the war in Iraq gets lower every week.

I agree that the investment in Iraq has been a poor one! I think if we would divert those dollars to the border issues, we would have been MUCH better off with the immigration issue....But what can you do, when this govt refuses accountabilty~?

I don't know why you are asking this. I can tell by your screen name that you've already made up your mind. Why bother asking other people's opinions, when you clearly know everything?
