I have been seeing my boyfriend for over 2 years and he has this friend named Skirker who he talks to me about but I have never met the guy in person. He tells me his friend does not like everyone duh who does and I have specifically asked him that I want to meet him since I have met all of his other friends. He spends a lot of time seeing this guy after work before he comes to my house and I just wonder what I should be thinking. I did speak to him once on the phone briefly but that is all.

well, maybe he just thinks that you might have conflicting personalities and he doesn't want to be in the middle of an argument

This particular friend has most likely caused problems for your boyfriend is past relationships so he learned his lesson and wants to keep you away from him. My boyfriend has a friend like this, he never wanted me to be around if Mikey was going to be around. It pissed me off so many times that my boy finally had him over to the house and, well, it turns out my boy was right for keeping him the hell away from me. I can't stand that guy. He seems like a good friend to my boy but, god, what a pig! After meeting and hanging out with this guy a few times (yeah, I gave more than one chance) I have just accepted that some people just aren't for everyone. Every time my boy says he's going to Mikey's I get this yucky feeling all over, if he wants to be friends with him, cool. I choose to keep my distance. Try asking your boyfriend what the deal is with this guy. Tell him that you are interested in all aspects of his life, friends included and tell him that you're not trying to butt-in on his time with his time with his bros but you just want to at least meet this person that he's spending so much time with. Good luck, I hope that it's a situation like mine and not that Skirker is a woman and he's cheating on you.

I was married for 10 years and my x never met some of my friends. but i dont think she would have wanted to so maybe it was for the best you now? if this is really an issue than maybe ask him to meet him and tell him that you wana get to know him better by meeting all his friends.

You have two options 1) he is seeing someone on the side and is trying to make the person out to be his "friend"
2) he is bi-sexual
I say this because the first one happened to me and the second one happened to my best friend. If you have been dating that long them you should have met all his friends by now

Sounds weird. Is this his imagninary friend? Is Skirker really a woman, and the person on the phone wasn't Skirker?
Only you can decide how important this is to you. I think it sounds very odd and somewhat deceitful.

What the **** are you talking about? By the horrible syntax and grammar, I'm assuming you are female. With a name like Skirker, I'm fairly positive your boyfriend has been taking it in the whale eye. Buy princess a neckerchief and tell him tootles.
