Caffeine. Many people have an attachment to drinks with caffeine! Some people get a headache if they have recently stopped, or haven't had for a while, things like tea, coffee, soda, etc.
My suggestion is to simply try to slowly cut down.
If you can't, just use honey instead of tea,it's better for you.

It's my favorite drink too!

You don't need to add sugar to it. There is some caffeine in iced tea, but generally much less than what you'd get in coffee. In general, I think iced tea tastes a lot better with loose tea rather than tea bags, but that's my opinion!

A tip to quickly decaffeinate your own tea is to rinse your leaves out with boiling water for about 15 seconds. Then re-brew it, and voila - decaf!

caffeine can be addicitive, but honestly, it's easy to get psychologically addicted to certain foods. Try making the iced tea with green tea (less caff) or herbal tea (no caff). It's very good. Use splenda for the sweetner. All tea, no caffeine or sugar calories!

Tea can become addidctive just like caffinated sodas because there is caffine in it. The sugar also gives you a rush. I cant sleep well if i drink too much tea. It has its benifits though, tea is full of antioxidants.

You must be refering to bottled iced tea. The traditional way is to boil some water, put in some tea bags, wait for it to steep as it cools. Take out the teabags, pour some over ice, and voila! Unsweetened pure iced tea.

Try an artificial sweetener such as Equal, Splenta, Sweet-n-Low, etc. I prefer Equal. They have no calories.
