I met Him in person, it didn't work out. He now continues to libel (slander) me in most all of His answers. (other than the fact that He's obviously immature)...He has posted my age, my screen name and my City, State... This is past the point of "hate vs. fun", He is breaking the law and He has now CROSSED THE LINE and THREATENED ME via Email. (I have the proof). Is my next step contacting HIS LOCAL POLICE STATION, OR HIS ISP PROVIDER OR BOTH?..

Your friends will know who you are and what you are about. Don't worry about the 'Answers' crowd. Might be safer not to meet people from the web; to meet someone who is referred to you from people you know. Let this be a warning for you, and you are safe. Please do not do this again.

This man sounds like a stalker to me, and there are laws against that. Report him to everybody you can think of. Somebody will help you. I'll be praying for you.

You should contact yahoo abuse/support...they can likely block his IP. make sure you have the proof to back you up. As for the threat, print off his profile, and the threat showing it was him and take it to the police. You can get a resteraining order and he may lose his rights to use a computer at all. Go to Your police first and they will tell you what you need to do

Contact both right now!! Then see about an order of protection since he knows where you live. This guy sounds like a psycho. He is putting your life in danger and it needs to stop now.

What will the Yahoo! Answer folks do for you?

You may need to speak with the local police, but what they will do is uncertain

It would depend on what the email said, but I would say do both. There is a law regarding "terrorist threats."

Yes, a lawyer would work. They can tell you if he's doing something illegal and then write him a threatening letter, and if he does not cease his childishness, then you can get him into trouble.

Why don't you spam yahoo answers with a bunch of questions that nobody cares about? Oh wait you're doing that now.
