Every time I go out with girlfriends to have a cocktail men hit on me and I have a wedding ring that you can't miss.Do men even care anymore? It also seems like the young guys are always the ones. I am 36 and the guys that usually hit on me are between 21 and 29.What is up with this?

For no_name69. I think there is nothing wrong with a woman getting together with her friends and having drinks and dancing. I am flattered when guys hit on me.I just asked the question cuz I wondered if men looked or not before approaching. It's always nice to know other men find you attractive.

Men like older women, it's simple. Most of the time we don't bother looking for a ring, because if you're at the club without him in the first place, we figure we at least have a shot. I could care less if a woman was married or not, if it was a 1 night thing.

Despite this being the 21st Century, a woman in a bar unaccompanied or "just out with the girls" is deemed fair game. Why else would you go to a place like that without your mate unless you're frankly looking for some strange? In fact, I score virtually every weekend - and it's usually a married woman. The younger guys have even better luck - they're in the sort of physical shape the women's hubbies USED to be before they got fat and lazy, and the younger guys typically can last and last and last and last - while the old f.a.r.t.s can barely get up once. Don't deny it - you birds miss the action, and if hubby dear won't put some effort into doing a better job meeting your needs, you'll come looking for guys like me who will!

That use to be me. WE dont check nor do we care. We think with our organs. Most of the time we get a few drinks in us try and hook up, but the reality is we are going home alone. Occasionally there is one girl who is looking to get laid, some one is going home with her, the problem is she does that every night, so what social thing may be going on down there at the end its not worth it, hence the ring. It equals safe sex.

I do check. However I know many women that wear rings as wedding bands to keep from being approached. So I guess they don't have any respect that is until the husband comes looking for them >:)

Great question! I wondered that too...when I told a guy I get hit on everytime I go out, he responded that they hit on me more b/c all the other girls wear a ring to avoid unwanted male attention...But, guess from reading all these answers, he was wrong!
So, on behalf of all of us women...thank you for asking!

If they are a Gentleman -- YES!!! If they're just out to get laid -- Probably not!!! It goes both ways though -- I had more WOMAN hit on me when I was married and wearing a ring than after my wife passed away!!

I look for a ring, and then if they have one on I don't approach them. It is a waste of my time and an insult to the sacred bond of marriage.

You must be a hot momma. I doubt they really care. The combination of you being soo sexy and the alcohol is unresistable. Plus, its a club and thats what happens there.
