My friend and I are moving to Florida, I already have a car, but my friend needs one too. We were thinking we could drive mine when we need too (for bad weather,groceries, etc) and get a crotch rocket (the insurance is good, gas is cheap, for cruising). Our other option is getting 2 cars-- the problem there is insurance....the insurance on my car in around 400-440 because I'm 18, it's a convertible and a GT. We were planning on splitting the cost between us to make it more affordable.
So here it is:
1 car, 1 crotch rocket ?
or
2 cars, lots of insurance?

I say the car and the bike as long as your friend knows how to share!! You guys will have a grate time with the bike and as you said you can use the car for rainy days!!! Good luck!!

My experience says friends and cars are a bad combination, because someone has to be the owner, and if there is any trouble, like an accident, or repairs, then people tend to "forget" that you and them are friends.
It is better if you get your OWN car and you friend has another one, but just for personal use. Don't get any "gt", "sport" or "racer" and the insurance will be ok.
Bikes are dangerous and only experimented drivers can use them properly, And the insurance for them is very expensive.

no question approximately IT.... A "interest motorbike" is WAYYYY extra relaxing than a convertible. at first, 9'11s are rubbish by way of fact they are puffed up and small. they appear like a fish head from the front. you prefer to spend that style of money then bypass purchase a Z06 convertible. 2d, the question has to do with relaxing element so bypass away the variables (climate, passengers, etc..) out of it. FYI... I raced a twin rapid Porche on my Busa and it wasnt even close. He smoke his wheels on the line and that i became an entire automobile length in front of him in the previous he even began to bypass :) I extremely have a 2006 Suzuki Hayabusa and that i like the incontrovertible fact that i will smoke something on the line. not something can touch me :) additionally, I had a 2000 Corvette convertible which became extremely some relaxing in spite of if it in simple terms doenst learn how to the buzz of something so effective and relaxing to journey.
