im afraid to tell ya but there is no heaven. unless your idea of heaven is rotten away like on old piece of fruit in which case animals do go to heaven...

You are right, IF You believe in evolution, then you really should also believe that you are not better than any other animal. You should not eat them, you should not kill a bug. People who believe in evolution, have no basis for what they do. I guess they just claim "survival of the fittest". Technically , people should be able to kill whoever gets in their way. So if evolution is true, then animals dont have a soul, and this includes humans too.
You can't have it both ways.

When I was Pope recently (long story of mystery and intrigue, dont ask) I changed the law to say they did and they could, and all Jack Russells can go to the front of the queue, not matter how naughty they had been.

this has always bothered me. lately ive been studying revelations... this may sound bogus and blasphemous,but heaven isnt our final resting place. please let me finish explaining...
after the tribulation,there will be the millenium- the 1000 year rein of christ on the new earth. yes. after the end of the tribulation, after he has cast his final judgement on those who didnt accept his son, he will create a "new earth" where christians will reside.
it says in the bible that we will have the things we love... so while animals do not have souls and cannot have salvation, those who do have salvation will be comforted by them. In the beginning, God created animals for us to enjoy. I think that there might be animals in heaven...one day i will find out.

It tends to be the patriachal monotheistic faiths that say only mankind has a soul/spirit/animating essense.Most pagan faiths and religions from pre-industrial societies see mankind and the living world as equals.

I firmly believe animals go to Heaven.They are innocent creatures of God .They are pure.Pets give us unconditional love.When I leave this earth and go to Heaven,I look forward to seeing all my former dogs and cats.If they don't let animals in Heaven,they would have a hard time finding anyone better.
