I like this girl at my school and we are best friends but she has a boyfriend and she said she likes poetry. We talk alot and i think she might like me cause she plays with her ring in class while I am looking and smiles and looks at me alot. Here is the poem poem. I have 4 right now so if you would like to see some of the others email me and I can show you them. The title is " Love is Everywhere. I have one bout her but she told me not to show her cause she is with her bf but i need some extra opinions.

Money can get you many things
A house to live in
A car to drive in
Food to eat
And seats to seat
But there is one thing money can’t
buy and that’s love
Love is a big thing to some
and a small for others
But love is delicate from
the young to the elders
No matter where you may be
trust me love is everywhere
From the mountains to the sea
Or the hills and maybe me
Love is in the air so be true, so be fair
Because like I told you
Love is in the air, everywhere

Ooooh I like it! I would show it to her...just to show her how you feel. If anything she will greatly appriciate it.

NO! Don't show her any poetry. Chicks say they dig that, but they really don't. They sit back and see who will write them poetry, and then they mark those simps down as the easiest to manipulate. The only people who get laid from writing poetry are rock stars and rappers. Maybe some country singers. Sad to say, your poem will never win a Grammy.

If she has a boyfriend and you're hoping she decides to like you, would that make her sort of a lying cheater if she goes with you while she has a boyfriend?
IF she's interested in you, she'll break up with him. IF you like her so much, you'll respect what she said to you:
she said NOT to show her because she is with her boyfriend. You're out of line if you don't respect her wishes and keep pestering her with your poetry.
(PS the line "And seats to seat" doesn't work.)

you dont want to try to hard to come between them because then she will resent you for it and it would be kind of childish... if you do tell her how you feel which im not saying you shouldnt because you should, then if she feels the same way about you she will realize she shouldnt be with her boyfriend and break up with him. as far as showing her the poem go ahead. just dont pressure her about her boyfriend and if she feels uncomfortable about the situation just leave it alone... be her friend and eventually it may evolve into more.

There is a free poetry posting forum at

http://www.sendcheers.com

I'd recommend posting your poetry there and then letting her know where it is if she ever wants to read it. Good Luck!!

It's a great poem, but chances are it won't go over so well. Either she'll say "thanks but no thanks," or she'll show it to her bf who will consider you his next target. If she really liked you as you say she acts like she does, she'd be with you instead of him.
