U don't believe that Jesus died on the cross & arose? Why does it say in the Quran in chapter: Maryam: Jesus said "And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." ? What that is supposed to mean or if I am missing something? I am studying Islam a little just a little curious. If u can answer this thanks for ur help.

"And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive." ?

What that means is the day he was born, which was basically as u can tell the day he was born brought in to this world, the day he died when he descended in to heaven and the day he is raised again will be on the last day judgment day on which he will resurrect and blow the first horn signaling the day of judgment, the second horn taking the life out of all living things and the third horn putting life in to everything including plants dummies paintings etc. and he will also lead all the belivers and help them fight the dajjal (false massiah, also known as the one eyed man)

First of all it's not that we believe or not but that what the quran and our prophet told us, do you just believe that god will let his prophet suffer on the cross. In another chapter god say in quran in the meaning:we took him up and we put someone who look like...
Until now Jesus is not really dead..he have to come back to kill the Antichrist then he will rule the world for some time then he will die like everybody...Jesus peace on him

no one can die on a cross even if he was nailed there, in at least three hours? In the philippines, every lenten season, some men, and women goes to great lenghts on following the sufferings of jesus, up to being nailed on the cross, they do that yearly up to some time depending on what they pledged.
the cross was designed then as a cruel form of death penalty, to be stripped, nailed and hanged there for at least three days and three nights, exposed to heat and cold, unitl the body weakens and expires due to dehydration, exposures, shock, heart failure or other possible causes.

These verses won't change the Muslim attitude towards the Christians a bit. Even in these verses you can't find anything suggesting the Crucifixion of Jesus.
In my opinion, you better study Christianity and Islam separately.
Remember, both of them don't make a sense any way.

here is the verse 33. Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!
which mean that peace is on him when he was born and when he die(he didnt yet but he will die ) and he will be resurrected at day of judgement
note that he did say the day i die not the day i died

First of all, I've been told that Muslims and Moslems are actually two different things, having started out in two different ways. Moslems are followers of Mohammed, who believed just as you say. Muslims started out as gangs in a prison. And yes, you are so right: People ought to study and find out what they really do believe! We really are should be friends!

This means that he will die but doesn't meen that he died..we believe that God took him to heaven and that he will come back to fight the false masiah and rule the world "as a follower of prophet Muhammad pbuh not as anew nessenger" then he will die like all humans.

Really this is to Mido. Thanks for the insight. I too often wondered about this. I like that you answered the question and gave an answer that explained the passage quoted, but I don't agree with the answer itself, as I am Christian.

Also, Thanks to lady_bug for asking it.

Because they have to change it to make it seem like Jesus was just a prophet. It's their way of trying to elevate Mohammad above all other prophets.
