I've tried to uninstall it from my computer so that I could install it again but I can't. I want to do that cuz it's not working properly. I also try to remove it through "adding or removing" programs but it doesn't work either.
I was thinking about removing all the whole file from the computer without uninstall it, but would that work ? If I deleted it,could I install it again without any difficulties?

load the pc in safemode restart the pc then keep tapping the F8 KEY till you come to a menu then you move up to safemode then hit the enter key then hit the enter key again now your see a lot of tex on screen dont worry when the pc comes to the login screen just login on your id then your see a safemode box load up just click on ok
then go to ,,add/remove , click on firefox then click remove , then click on my computer , icon go in there then click on the (c) drive then click on program files . look for Mozilla Firefox , folder , right click on the Mozilla Firefox. folder then click on remove . now click on start , all programs , look in the list for Mozilla Firefox ,right click on Mozilla Firefox , then click on delete , then close off all the open windows then restart the pc , when your back at the desktop re download Mozilla Firefox

Have you tried just installing over top. That ought to work. If not delete the folder out of c:/progam files and try.

I am not sure what happened in the first place but a lot of times when browsers stop working it is due to a virus. If that is a possibility then clean it up first.
This is more effective in safe mode (F8 during the boot, pick safe mode with networking)

Go to Start>Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and Uninstall what you can there. If they won't uninstall, you will get them later.

Do the free scan

Download AdAware and SpyBOT (available at http://download.com )
Install, update, scan and remove anything they find.

Update and run your virus scanner http://free.grissoft.com if you need one.

Defrag the drive, reboot in normal mode and rescan to make sure you got it all.
Download and install all Windows updates when you are done. (Internet Explorer > Tools > Windows Updates)

If it's giving you problems, what you should do is actually install a new version of firefox, then uninstall through the Add/remove programs function.

i would download the file again and try installing it over the old one.... if not, you can try deleting it that way... but most likely you will still have some junk from it on your computer somewhere.
