It is not a excuse, but given the short room for description it gives a better idea of my situation with out giving away my whole story. I was looking to write something that described living a life with multiples as well a child with special needs. I know I have encnountered many times where I just felt I could not go on and had heard stories of other people struggle and it gave me the strength to go on.

I honestly can't say that anyone would or wouldn't. It depends on what your story is. If yours is a story of encouragement, then maybe. It sounds like you want to write a book on being a single father of multiples (with one being "special") and the challenges that arise from it. The only way to know for sure if anyone would want to pay to hear your story is to write about it and try to sell it.

I don't get the impression at all that you're using your son being autistic as an excuse for anything. Obviously you've had many trying times and have found a way to cope. Maybe by writing "your story" (as you put it), you can encourage others who are in the same boat.

Good luck!

My oldest son is autistic as well. I never use it as an excuse!
