Flirting through aggression??????????????
My best friend is always hitting me playfully. She is a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15, and people keep saying she is flirting. Today, for example, she just hit me in the head with a school book (lol) for no reason. We have known each other for 2 years. First off, do you think this actually is her way of flirting? She doesn't do it to other people. And also, what should I do back? Should I also playfully mess around with her?
Is this actually a way of flirting?
Also, when she isn't messing like this, she is more serious to me than others, she tells me if she is feeling bad.

I think she might like you. My niece is 15 and messes with guys the same way. As a matter of fact, she seems to be more aggressive with the ones that she likes the most. Wait a second, I hope your not the one that my niece messes around with. If it is you, then she does like you, but she's in denial about it. Anyways, just be there for her and play back with her, but don't ever be more aggressive than her.

Yes she is flirting, as for how you should react back - just be yourself. I note that others have said to grab her and kiss her - and it could be that she wants you to do that, however, it could also be that she is just flirting as a way of discovering her own sexuality and feels safe and comfortable with you.
Take it one step at a time, my guess is that there will be a moment when things just happen.

There is a saying...."You hit the people you like" ....that in so many acconts is true...It is confusing right? You don't know whether she is just being silly or she is actually trying to get your attention. right? It sounds to me that she is being a bit flirtatious there. i read your question carefully and if she is only hitting you that means that she likes you big time. Don't ignore it, be playful back, but the question to you is Do you like her more than a friend? Just ask yourself that and if you do then you go for it, don't hold back but if you don't then i don't know, just carry on the way you are. good luck ~.~

Indeed she is flirting with you. It seems she likes you and feels good with you. You should also flirt with her same way. She probably likes wild kind of flirt. Go ahead and playfully mess with her.

next time she hits you with a book....sneak her in the gut with a "light" upper cut. LOL....playtime is so under rated. She'll either hit ya back or file an assault charge. The first = she's flirting, the second = self defense on your part. Good Luck!

Do the same with her... for example, she hit you in the head with a book, then do the same, get a book and hit her in the head... see how she reacts... that's pretty funny!
show your affection the same way, maybe that way, she thinks you like her too... if that's the way of her showing she likes you. And that way it can lead to another thing more than friends

yes she is flirting I did it to guy that I liked in high school he never did anything back ask her to go out or tell her to stop hitting you or your going to hit her in a head with a book

Girls and violence, what can I say to you ,If you permit it, your just as wrong as she is doing it. Tell her by herself that you like her for a friend and you just don't like it when she hits you or things of that nature, its just not becoming for a girl her age to be doing, it would look like to adults that you two have more going on than friendship, and the questions will come if they haven't already, are you ready to answer them.

She is definatly flirting with you. If you like her go for it. If not you need to tell her how you feel and i am sure she will back off.
