The top of the SCOT MONUMENT....my dad proposed to my mum at the top 30 yrs ago....its way better than the Eiffel tower, it has a picture perfect view of all the best of edingburgh...castle...arthers seat...princess street etc and the tower itself is so pretty xx

I agree with LindseyB. Scot Monument is truly beautiful, the views are beautiful. The walk up can make you dizzy, but it's worth it! It's incredible! It's been since '93 since I was there, but I have many good memories. So much to do and so little time there! I can't wait to go back one of these days. I want to show my husband where all the photos came from and see my friend again. She's the best.
