i am planning on spending a few days in nuevo laredo mexico next week, is this safe?

NO AND NO AND NO SOME MORE, the area you speak about it the most danger us place in Mexico I've ever been, even in the middle of the day, i was coming in one night from a long trip up from Mexico city, and was driving down a small street stopping to get gas,around 2:30 am and as i was leaving a 72 Chev impala with one door missing started chasing me before i knew it i was driving 80 miles an hours down a one way street the wrong way trying to looz them, did my self a big power slide across the grass media onto the main street, and the funny thing was i had passed two cop cars, and nobody cared, i drive in Mexico alot and lived for 3 years just outside of Guadalajara, and i have never had to do that even while driving in Mexico city, that is a dangerous place of 20 million people but nuevo Laredo is where the devil lives I'm sure of it. if it wasn't for me being with big balls and and cool driving skills, they would have stopped me, cut my throat and took the car, 1 year ago at 4:00pm my wife and i had just past across into mexico in this same town, two men ran as fast as they could to try to open my wife's car door to get her out,while the police watched really''' as well as about 50 other people,as i held it on the rug the 2 men gave up their plan, all of this really happend just like that,-- there is and gate one and gate 2 into mexico gate one is the bad place, please use{gate 2 only} and leave by lunch time or be on the menu, in mexico you are not safe until you get down around the state of jalisco then you don't have to worry, the people their are civilized and very nice,and by the way i have a mexican wife and she was even shocked at how bad that place laredo was and she is from mexico city, all the border towns will be the same, many nightly killings are normal, have fun but be kind to your self and leave by lunch time or so and you may be ok, have a watchful eye and have fun. -- pick up a news paper and look what happend the night before, --cool. ----o look some one has already noticed you are coming see the upper answer, could be a good thing or could be the start of somthing bad, i think it would be hard to get over a bullet hole to my head for only the money in my pocket, and girls can do that without a permit, on the other side , yes i know i have talked way to much, just trying to keep ya alive man.
