Well first of let me say been ther done that! And as hard as this sounds let him go be his freind but, DO NOT!!! get physiaclly or emotionally involved with him as it is more than likely that he will pull you down instead of you lifting him up. Not to mention the BIBLE says do not be unequally yoked (talking about coming from different religeous positions). And hey you don't have to believe me ask some who is allready in a similiar marrital relationship and see if they don't give the same advice. So hope that helped and reaaly spend some time in prayer on this one

Was Married to one for 15 years. I too am a Christian. It was very hard at first but I was lucky that he didn't care if I took the kids to church or had them confirmed. He did it for me. In the long run we talked about what type of religion our kids would practice and we agreed it would be up to them. Neither of us would force the issues of our own. It can work if you have a partner that will bend a little , you both have too if you want it to work. Good luck!

I had a Christian friend who was in love with an atheist. They dated for about 2 1/2 years, and things ended. It was a part of her that he would never be able to understand. However, if you can make it work, go for it.
