My daughters swim in the YMCA pool once or twice a week. My younger daughter has very light, fine hair, and still smells like chlorine even after 2 or 3 washings. What can I get that will take all the chlorine out of her hair, and conditions well?

Tressemme Deep Cleansing shampoo w/ Vitamin C, it even says it on the back of the bottle to use for summer hair, not just clorinated hair. A 40 oz bottle is only 5$ at Target.

Aveda makes a shampoo called Detox. That will do it. You don't have to use it every day, maybe once or twice a week. If you don't have an Aveda retailer near you, any shampoo that has clarifying in its description is worth a shot. They will dry out the hair so again, I wouldn't use them every day. Switch it out with a shampoo that will put moisture back in.

I was a swimmer for 10 years, just deep condition it often and DO NOT use pantine on your hair. It is the worst shampoo anyone could ever use, all it does is coat your hair with wax. Also try a baking soda and water rinse.

as weird as this sounds the kind that works the best is the little kids that comes in a bottle shaped like a fish it is for chlorine and swimmers hair and then after you wash it with that just wash it with whatever you normally use

I had very light hair as a kid and mom always used either tomato or orange juice. Something about the acid.
Or try the link below for actual shampoo products
