It would be very helpful for you to get some good counselling. What were you in rehab for? Obviously you didn't have a good experience there. Talk to your parents or an adult you trust and ask them to help you get some good counselling. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but you will have to work on your body if you want to get back to your normal weight and that means good balanced diet and lots of exercise and fresh air.
You are a beautiful young woman with your whole like ahead of you.... don't lose hope my dear - stay strong!
I hope you feel better soon.

Okay, first of all do not feel badly about yourself. I am sure you look nice even if you do have a few pounds you want to shed.
My advice is this. Make sure you are eating three balanced diets a day and try not to eat seconds. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables for snacks. Sometimes when we do not eat enough the body tends to think it needs to store fat so keep that in mind as well. AT the same time stay away from your favorite snacks. I am not saying to totally cut them out but for example if it is chips, have only 10 of them a week. If you are eating candy bars, eat half a one one day and eat the other half in about 3 days. The idea here is to eat good healthy meals and cut out all ot most of the junk.
Also try to take a walk for 15 minutes or more a day. This will get the adrenaline going and not only help with losing weight but make you feel happier too.
If this does not work then go see your doctor and ask him if you can see a nutritionist.

start doing some sort of activity for at least 30 min, 4 times a week, then increase it a little each week. You should also find some sort of diet program that you can stick to. I recommend the weight watchers points program. You can eat anything you want, with the points it teaches you to eat in moderation. A well balanced diet along with exercise should help you get your weight and metabolism back on track. I also recommend some counseling if it is a self esteem issue. Those antidepressants will cause your weight to do crazy things..... I am assuming that is what you were on, or ADD meds. Anyhow that is just an idea.

My daughter is 16 and weighs over 200 pounds. We just recently discovered she has diabetes. With that information we started making some huge lifestyle changes. That's really what it is all about. The doctors encouraged her to do some activity she likes for at least 10-20 minutes a day and work up to longer periods of time. Any activity that involves movement will do, dancing, riding a bike, walking, jumping on a trampoline, swimming, whatever you like and will do. Also, watching how much you are eating. Start using a measuring cup to measure out the suggested serving of whatever you are eating. Most people eat 2-3 times the suggested serving size. Also, like others have said, water, water, water. One other thing to consider is your fiber intake. Opt for whole grain choices, or things that have fiber in them like beans, some cereals, etc. My daughter has learned to look at labels, even when I'm not around to tell her to. Try eating more things with high vitamin content, and eating less foods with high sugar and carbohydrates. The best thing you can do is trying to do lifestyle changes and SLOWLY lose weight, not try dropping all the weight rapidly. You will be more likely to succeed at keeping the weight off if you do it slowly, and less likely to start a rollercoaster life of gaining and loosing weight. Best wishes to you, and love who you are!!! Also, my daughter has lost about 15 pounds in the last 3-4 months with these tips.

Yes... and you don't tell us how tall you are. For all I know you are exactly within the normal weight range for your age and height.
Please... stop worrying so much about how much you weigh, and start looking at how you interact with other people.
I'd rather spend my time with a fat person with a great personality, than I would spend my time with a perfectly fit and trim woman who treats everyone around her like crap.
Look.... I'm not saying you are fat... and I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with being a few pounds overweight... all I'm saying is, it's more important to take a healthy look at your entire persona, and then make adjustments that will serve you well over the long run.
When someone laughs at you and calls you fat, you need to remember that THEY have a very ugly personality... and you can diet.

Sweety, You have to first love yourself, even if you gained weight learn to be comfortable in your new skin, big is beautiful no matter who says what, and plus if you want to loose any weight there sre so many work out prgrams that could help you and at your pace, so there no pressure.
But I use to be small but I gained some wieght and I found you know what in my jeans my bottom looks better and I love hanve boobs now, but yes there is some down falls but thats in every good there is a bad or negotive and just as well in the good and positive, but honey no matter how many looks you get, own it act careless even if you are bothered, but don't let no one see that they are upsetting you unless you really trust that person with those feelings.
And as far as weight loss goes the Atkins diet does work! but is very hard to stick to...and now a days there bad azz clothes for larger women adn girls and cute as hell too. You are going to be okay!...
First find yourself again, see what you want and what are your dreams and then make them hapen./...

For starters dont worry about what other think of you.
Secondly if you want to lose the wait you need to start exercising. Go on walks or even start running, even if you cant last very long. A healthier diet of vegetables fruits and less foods high in sugars and unnecessary fats will help too. Stay away from non diet sodas too.

This girl I know, and just went out with, is about your size I guess. I don't exactly know, I didn't weigh her. But I can tell that she is uncomfortable with herself. She Wears a lot of make-up and tries to hide her body with the type of clothing that she wears.
I saw her 1 time and that was it. I think she let her own insecurity
interfere with our relationship. I guess what I'm saying here, is that this is something that you will have to deal with on your own,
I mean, you will have to learn to become comfortable with yourself before anyone else will be able to. And besides, winter is almost here and there's a lot of thin, single guys out there, that will need to be kept warm. Oh yeah, I forgot, your just 15, so guys in your age group still have their mom for that. Give it another 5 years or so.

My sister is heavy, she is 16 and over 200 pounds and suffers from low self esteem like you. It's hard to be over weight and living some of the best years of your life. I have gained alot to in this past year. My doctor told me to cut back on sweets, no pop, lots of water and exercise, go for walks! You are young and your metabolism is going to bounce back, but only you can change you diet and add exercise. My sister lost alot of weight just by adding 8 glasses a water a day to her diet, she cut out all pop. You can do it.... I know you can. Get it into your mind that for a short time you will need to give up all sweets and drink lots of water. If you like sweets and feel you will miss them, then give yourself something sweet only once a week until you have reached your weight loss goal. Your young sweetheart! You can do it, do it now before you are my age and your metabolism is strung out!
Good luck!
