Don't attempt to ask him again, because that way you'll drive him off for good. Sweetly accept his offer as having a bff relationship, and keep it sweet for awhile until he can change his mind. Find out his interests, and do things that he is interested in, and try to see what can you do for him to like you better.

No you can't do something. He already told you what he feels for you, you can't MAKE someone feel something they don't. Either enjoy his company as a friend or part company. I suggest you grow up a bit before trying to enter into a committed relationship though, you're not ready for those kinds of relationships yet, it's quite evident in your post.

No, you can't force anything to happen. Trust me, it just ends bad for you. It is better to move on. There are plenty of other people out there for you.
