my friend is perfectly healthy and he s able to work
how come he doesnt want to work and live off the government
with SSI and welfare
what do u think about that????????
us who work pay for his laziness with our taxes

Yeah,
It completely sucks. You can get just about anything to qualify as a disability. If you are "depressed" and if you have a good enough lawyer, they can get you SSI.
It is really lame. I work with a lot of people that collect it and sometimes they need it and cannot work and there are other people who just are totally lazy and it is those people that are milking the system.

Ok for one not all health problems can be seen by the outside. Are you sure he doesn't have mental issues? Cause people are on ssi for that. But there are some people out there that do collect just because they don't want to work and that makes the people who really need the help look bad. You need to talk to your friend and see what the real problem is. Just be warned that if there is something going on he may not want to talk to you about it. But ssi isn't the easiest thing to do. The government just doesn't hand money to anyone. Find out what he is on it for then find out all the things that people on ssi cant do. The government doest make being on ssi a fun thing.
