I don't know if they've come to your area yet but Jet Blue Airlines is wonderful!!! My husband had a last minute flight he had to take from Richmond, VA to Bostom, MA. We bought it the night before he had to leave and it cost under $300. I know seats are much cheaper than that if you book in advance. The seats were very large, they had satelite tv and movies to watch, choices of gourmet style snacks and a huge beverage variety.
He loved his flight and we've been flying jet blue ever since.
