I love peanut butter sandwiches in all ways. My two favorites are:

Toast with crunchy peanut butter and bananas... MMMM

This is a new one for me: Grilled peanut butter and jelly with potato chips in it. I found it at a restaurant and had to try it... It was awesome and messy. The chips add a whole different texture and taste! I love it!

Lots of peanut butter is a must as is a HUGE glass of ice cold milk!

I like to toast mine on white bread and add a thin layer of sugar over the top of the peanut butter. Mmm very good! Oh and of course eat it while it's still hot and the peanut butter is all gooey!! And yes I love peanut butter sandwiches, but not too much peanut butter in there or I won't be able to talk for the next 3 days. lol

My peanut butter sandwich -- two pieces of white bread (the soft, unnutritious kind), possibly toasted so the pickle juice (see below) doesn't make them too soggy. But if hungry, forget toasting for the first sandwich.

Smooth peanut butter, maybe Skippy's or other major brand (nothing "pure"), spread on pretty thick.

And pickles -- specifically, Fanning's Bread and Butter pickles. Oh -- I want some now ... yes, love.

It has to be on plain old smushy store-bought white bread like iron kids or wonder.

Creamy peanut butter, Plum jam (or blackberry preserves), and a little bit of butter.

Gotta drink milk with it. Skim or 2%.

Funny story about peanut butter...a girlfriend of mine was watching TV after she had moved here from Holland. For months she said that she couldn't understand why Americans would put dark mustard on bread and eat it plain...(it was a peanut butter commercial, not mustard). haha.

It also is good with a bowl of chicken flavored ramen soup or chicken noodle soup if I am starving.

Crunchy peanut butter, sliced bananas on either VERY soft white or whole wheat. I keep the crust on.

For variety, I add jam or preserves. Jelly just does not cut it. My fave: strawberry, then peach, then apricot, then orance marmalade.

Not particularly creative. Not like Elvis' battered, deep fried.

Toasted? EEEYUCH! No!

Milk used to be my favorite "go with," but my tummy won't take it anymore. My new fave is lemonade. Even the "fakey" stuff, like Crystal Lite and the like is yummy!

I like mine fried, with bananas. Make a regular peanut butter sandwich, on wheat bread with no jelly, only peanut butter on both breads. Slice a banana longways in half and then in chunks and place on one side of the bread. Cover with the other slice of bread. Melt one teaspoon butter in skillet and fry sandwich on both sides untill golden brown. Yummy! Of course you need a tall glass of ice cold milk to go along with it.
